The Kingston Trio
The Kingston Trio

Pioneers of the American folk music revival, the Kingston Trio released their hit “Tom Dooley” in 1958 and set the stage for Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Peter, Paul and Mary, and the entire protest movement of the 1960s.  The Kingston Trio was the number one vocal group in the world, a musical and cultural phenomenon whose record sales and concert draws were matched only by The Beatles.  Today, the Trio consists of George Grove, Bill Zorn and Rick Dougherty, and still features their trademark three-part harmony and clean, crisp sound.  Still on the road 30 weeks a year, the Trio’s busy touring schedule has resulted in an increasing number of new fans, both young and old.

Richens-Timm Irish Dance Recital

Join us for a night of dancing, performed by the students of Indy's only Irish dance school, the Richens/Timm Academy of Irish Dance. Passed down from generation to generation, our traditional set dances will bring to life a bit o' Celtic history. Then just try to stop yourself from smiling as our beginner group demonstrates a 2-hand jig or keep your hands from clapping as our more experienced dancers hammer out a hornpipe. Just a month before that most Irish of holidays, this performance will get you in the mood for St. Patrick's Day!

Presented by WCHS Drama

In that most idealized period of 20th-century America, the Eisenhower years of the 1950s, the Pazinski family has a lot going on in their cramped Buffalo apartment. The youngest of the bunch, 12-year-old Rudy, is a smart, wise-cracking kid who's starting to question family values and the Roman Catholic Church. When Rudy goes up against the ruler-wielding Sister Clarissa and announces that instead of being confirmed he'd rather shop around for a more "fun" religion, his family is not amused. A warm and hilarious look at family, growing up, and faith.
