PAC RAT  T-Shirts

2011 - 2012

They can't be stopped!  No matter how much we try, no matter how much repellent we spray, no matter how many traps we lay.... They just keep coming!

The NEW 2011 - 2012 PAC Rat shirts are in!  With a new year we bring you some new additions.  On the back of the t-shirt, we included the quote "Alone we can do so little; Together we can do so much" by Helen Keller.  Below the quote is a list of Warren Central Performing Arts Department achievements from the 2010 - 2011 school year!

And, as usual, the WPAC is offering these cool t-shirts at 50% off to make them affordable!

Celebrate our successes together and grab the new PAC RAT  T-Shirt today!

Behind the Scenes Indy Tours
August 27, 2011

For this outreach opportunity, the Advanced Technical Theatre students were brought to three performing arts businesses in the Indianapolis area and given tours of their operations.  The goal of the program was show students all of the job opportunities in the theatre industry, compare the WPAC's facilities to others, and to meet some of the people in Indianapolis that make the performing arts happen!

The students first stopped at Indianapolis Stage Sales & Rentals, INC (or Indy Stage).  As one of the leading Indy businesses in theatre equipment, students were given a tour of their operations, given demonstrations on various lighting instruments, and were given free goodies!

Next, the students visited the Pike Performing Arts Center on the west side of Indianapolis.  At this unique stop, students had the opportunity to speak with their Director, Jared Duymovik, and other PAC staff!  The students got to experience how the Pike PAC, a business very much like the Warren Performing Arts Center, operates!

Finally, the students recieved a special tour at the new Palladium in Carmel, IN.  The tour was given by Carol Baker, Education & Community Outreach Director, and Kyle Lemoi, Director of Production.  The students jaws were dropped as they witnessed the operation of the state-of-the-art $150 million facilities!  At the end of the tour, Kyle spoke to the students about strategies on starting their own careers in theatre.

All Time Low
Arts Education Outreach
August 26, 2011

The band, All Time Low, offered a special outreach performance for 150 Warren Central High School performing arts department students!  For this unique outreach opportunity, the band played a few songs for the students and then we held a discussion panel where students had the opportunity to ask the band questions about song writing, the music industry, their history, and performing arts!  And it doesn't end there!  Students also ran the lights and sound for this exciting performance!  That evening, the band played their scheduled concert in the gorgeous Egyptian Room at the Murat downtown.

All Time Low is an American pop punk band from Baltimore, Maryland, formed in 2003. The band consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Alexander Gaskarth, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Jack Barakat, bassist and back vocalist Zachary Merrick, and drummer Rian Dawson.
