Inspirational, gifted, and extraordinary – Three words that best describe Ronald Craig (aka Tony Styxx), a local performance artist in the Indianapolis area.Working collaboratively with WPAC staff, Tony developed an educational performance targeted for our young audience of Warren Central High School Freshman.Original poems about sacrifice, learning to co-exist, and diversity through the ages, Tony wants the students he interacts with to “learn to speak history through poetry” and for them to learn that “Black History is more than these two or three black leaders… It’s about teaching you that – if man can think it, it is possible”. On February 28, Tony spoke to nearly 500 freshman english students in the Warren Performing Arts Center.
Barton Theatre Organ Encounter November 22 & 24, 2010
In this unique opportunity, students in the Warren Central High School Performing Arts Department got an inside look into the majesty of the gorgeous 1927 Barton Theatre Organ that is installed in the Warren Performing Arts Center. Through out the day, students were given a brief history of The Barton by Carlton Smith, CIC-ATOS President, and got an inside look into the chambers of the organ via a live feed! The Barton was played by an up-and-coming organist, Justin Stahl. Over 500 performing arts students attended this unique event!
On the afternoon of October 24, the community was invited to a free silent movie concert featuring Justin Stahl. The movie that was shown was a comedy called The Two Tars. Over 100 community members laughed the afternoon away!
Joshua Kane Acting Workshop

In October, Joshua Kane came to perform his one man show "Joshua Kane: Tales of Terror" as a part of the WPAC's professional season. During the day, the advanced acting class was offered a 5 hour acting workshop with this incredible New York actor.
40 acting students from Warren Central High School worked on diction, vocalization, and character development with Joshua. After the workshop was over, the WPAC provided free tickets to all 40 students to come to Joshua's performance in the PAC's auditorium that evening.

For this unique opportunity the WPAC worked collaboratively with the Indianapolis School of Ballet and the Warren Central High School Girls Track Team!
25 students on the WC Girls Track team were taken out of their element on Saturday, September 18 in the WPAC and were offered a 4 hour ballet workshop with 2 professional dancers from Indianapolis.
